Authors note: There was a version of this drafter shortly after the Columbine massacre happened, when I was in high school. I was hoping it would never be relevant again, but has become increasingly more relevant as the years have passed. So I decided to revisit it, and I was sad to see I didn’t need to make an abundance of edits to it, because as it was written it was still relevant.
